Anvil is one of South Africa’s most recognized and widely respected brands within the commercial food service equipment industry space. Since the company’s inception in 1966, Anvil has earned the catering industry’s trust and respect in many markets. Our products are currently distributed worldwide in over 30 countries thanks to our cutting-edge manufacturing processes and sophisticated in-house innovative technical research capabilities.
Our broad range of products can be found in restaurants, convenience-stores, canteens, hospitals, supermarkets, hotels, bars and industrial kitchens where the products are used by professional chefs and caterers alike. Anvil is a member of the Universal Industries Group; one of the largest Food Service Equipment Companies in Sub Saharan Africa.
As an experienced appliance equipment manufacturer, we place a strong emphasis on the use of high-quality material and components in our products thus ensuring that our products are built to last. These products are designed, sourced and produced with the end-user in mind. The production facility is ISO9001:2015 accredited and based in Johannesburg, South Africa. Our 14,000m² facility has up to date state of the art manufacturing machinery and processes.

Some of our equipment is available in electrical or gas configurations. Our highly competent staff of over 160 employees with vast industry knowledge and extensive experience in Shipping, Production, Procurement, Customer Service and Marketing lie at the centre of our success.
