Since the company’s inception in 1966 and where it is now, Anvil has earned the catering industry’s trust and respect in many markets. Our products are currently distributed worldwide in over 30 countries thanks to our cutting-edge manufacturing processes and sophisticated in-house engineering team.
Today we manufacture a broad range of products that can be found in restaurants, convenience-stores, canteens, hospitals, supermarkets, hotels, bars and industrial kitchens where the products are used by professional chefs and caterers alike. Anvil is a member of the Universal Industries Group; one of the largest Food Service Equipment Companies in Sub Saharan Africa.
As an experienced appliance equipment manufacturer, we place a strong emphasis on the use of high-quality material and components in our products thus ensuring that our products are built to last. These products are designed, sourced and produced with the end-user in mind. The production facility is ISO9001:2015 accredited and based West of Johannesburg, South Africa. Our 10,000m² factory is fitted out with state of the art machinery and technology. We are also equipped to receive guests with a large showroom and a fully functional kitchen for tests and demonstrations.
In addition to the above, we also have offices in Guangzhou, China where we have in-house quality engineers to manage our uniquely developed products.

The products are manufactured to specific standards and conform to the most stringent of European and US safety requirements.
The products include convection, deck, pizza and baking ovens, dough and other mixers, fryers, broilers, a variety of cabinets, rotisseries, cake fridges, display units, warmers, salamanders, grillers and sandwich toasters. Some of our equipment is available in electrical or gas configurations.
